Lake Bracciano – Relaxed vacation for families

How do you choose the perfect vacation, that keeps everyone in the family happy?

Activities, shopping, culture, swimming… It’s not that easy!

Especially with small kids.

Right now we are in Lanzarote, after a gray Swedish winter we needed some sun and heat.

Toscana for New Years Eve!

Family in Toscana

We came to Rome on Christmas Day and had dinner with our friends a few days later. They were going to Toscana over New Year and since we didn’t have any plans (last-minute trip to Rome this year) – we decided to go too!

Short stay in Sweden for Christmas

Swedish Christmas

We normally go to Rome and the “Nonnis” (the Grandparents) for the holidays, but this year we decided to spend Christmas at home since it’s been a while.

I have read a lot about babies’ sleep patterns and still today I hold on to one thing I learned.

Gran Canaria – Meloneras

Normally we leave the Swedish “winter” (we live in the south where there’s rarely snow, just rain and darkness mostly) for a week or two for a sunnier and warmer place. One of our favourites is Gran Canaria, Spain.

Who needs sleep? PARENTS DO!!

When I think back of the baby-toddler-time, I think of SLEEP. Or rather the lack of it. They say that babies’ sleep can be of varying quality in the first years but usually stabilizes around the age of three. Here’s our case.

How the hell did we make it??

“Do you see what I’m seeing?”, the nurse asked in the dark screening room at week 12 check-up.

“Wow, look at that! The baby is moving in there!”, we answered (we didn’t “see” anything).

“Well… there are TWO of them”.
